Session policy
This independent fan site publishes practical shift notes designed to help players decide whether a press lane, material swap, or queue-balance focus fits the questions they have in mind.
What a shift note should answer
A useful entry explains the practical floor experience rather than restating a generic checklist. Notes focus on job intake, material loops, queue cues, player fit, schedule pressure, and the preferences most likely to affect how someone plans a reading session.
Coverage notes
Entries identify the context used for the note when it is relevant: press lane or full session path, material swap, closing rush, or a practical sourcing detail. A note may be revisited when that context changes materially.
Scores and rankings
This fan site does not use a universal ranking wall. A station path can be carefully described and still be unsuitable for a reader looking for a particular floor focus. Fit notes are more useful than a single number.
Corrections
Clarification requests are reviewed through contact. When a change affects a shift note materially, the shift notes board records the revised context.
Shift note anatomy
| Part | Purpose | Typical question |
|---|---|---|
| First-pass note | Clarifies opening floor steps and early focus. | How quickly does the session explain itself? |
| Balance note | Explains the stages that stay carefully framed. | What changes after the first major job wave? |
| Friction note | Separates deliberate station work from avoidable rush. | Where might a reader want more context? |
| Fit note | Connects the description to a practical reading goal. | Who is this most likely to help? |
